Client Brief

After an initial free consultation, we first understand our Clients objectives for buying property in New Zealand. For example, what type of property you want, your budget, your investment time frame, purpose for buying, how this fits with your personal circumstances etc.


Getting Finance Approved

Many Clients underestimate what is needed to get their finances in order to buy in New Zealand. If required, NZ Propertyhunt provides assistance in getting Finance ‘pre-approval’ in place so that they are ready to act on a property deal as soon as the right one comes up. This pre-approval usually takes a few months to arrange and is valid for three months.


Sourcing Properties and Due Diligence

Through a vast network of Agents, Private Sellers, Investors and Developers in NZ, we then source properties and/or deals that fit our Client’s criteria including arranging all the due diligence and research that is necessary (e.g. valuations, building inspections, rental appraisals, council checks etc). This process allows us to find discounted real estate deals.

Managing Everything from Beginning to End

If Clients need assistance in the following areas, we can also help facilitate the following:

  • Finance approval
  • Tax advice that is needed for overseas Buyers
  • Legal representation

  • Overseeing the transaction through to completion
  • Recommendation of Property Managers to manage the property on your behalf if it is going to be used as a rental property

Apart from making the process easier, NZ Propertyhunt provides a consulting service at every step to guide our Clients in their decision-making. We are, of course, not responsible for your financial decisions or property investment outcomes but can certainly share the best of our knowledge and experience to help you be better informed.

Fees

  • OPTION A
    For any existing pre-negotiated deals or properties listed on this website that have already been sourced by NZ Propertyhunt, the above all inclusive services are FREE of charge (excluding any third-party costs such as Legal, Valuation reports etc).
  • OPTION B
    If none of the existing deals suit your personal criteria, NZ Propertyhunt can source a specific property and provide the above services at the rates below:
    For properties less than NZ$500,000 S$2500 + GST
    For properties over NZ$500,000 -NZ$1.0M S$3000 + GST
    For properties over NZ$1.0M a further fee will be negotiated
  • These fees are incurred only if NZ Propertyhunt is able to find a suitable property that you decide to purchase and upon exchange of Sale & Purchase contracts with the vendor
